Vacation is Over!

Hello dear readers. Perhaps you were wondering where I've been. Well, as I might have mentioned, my home computer is back in action. I, however, have been taking a needed break from the online world.

I also went to Cape Girardeau, MO, to visit my sister this past weekend. I took Monday off to recuperate from the four-hour drive--although it was my mom who did all the driving. :) We drove up to Sikeston to eat at Lambert's Café, and it was worth the trip, even if the tourists were crazy. And on Saturday, we visited a charming little shop in downtown Cape called Renaissance. I found a great collage-y kind of picture featuring the Eiffel Tower that I just had to have for $50.

It was back to work as usual on Tuesday, and I kind of stayed offline until Wednesday, needing a break from the virutal world, as I seem to have mentioned above. :)

This weekend will be busy. We will probably go see a movie on Saturday, and tonight we'll be watching DD's first play--a bible school performance. Kids grow up fast.
